The New Year marks an exciting new beginning.

This winter we will see our guest house transformed from 3 to 5 star luxury – offering the highest quality bed and breakfast accommodation in North Shore. 

We’re aiming to re-open in April 2009 and can assure our loyal customers the same warm welcome and friendly service that has brought you back to us in the past.

However, step inside, and you’ll discover a new standard of 5 star luxury with stripped wooden floors, LED lighting and re-furbished living and dining rooms.

You’ll hardly recognize the bedrooms which are being enlarged and re-decorated to offer luxurious bathrooms with heated floors and double sized showers.

Top quality towels, bed linen and toiletries will ensure your comfort, while flat screen TVs and dvd players may mean you never want to leave the room!

We have spent the autumn planning the project and visiting other 5 star guest houses. Our aim is to provide top quality accommodation while maintaining the family values and friendly service which has been key to our success and has brought guests back year after year.

We have also taken the chance to embrace environmental issues and to reduce our ‘carbon footprint.’

With sensor lighting in the halls and stairways, Fairtrade tea and coffee in the bedrooms, and refillable bottles in the bathrooms we’re well on our way to becoming an eco-hotel. We’re even recycling the cooking oil from the kitchen!

Those of you who enjoy a hearty breakfast will find an even bigger selection of dishes on the menu, while those preferring fruit and cereals will also be spoilt for choice. All food will be freshly cooked and locally sourced where possible.

The next few months will be very exciting for us as we see our home and guest house transformed into our dream bed and breakfast accommodation
